Paul Pogba is unlikely to undergo a medical with Manchester United today as Juventus are yet to give the midfielder permission to do so.

After tough negotiations between both clubs, Manchester United and Juventus reached an agreement earlier this week that would see the midfielder move back to Old Trafford this summer.

Pogba is currently holidaying in the United States, and there has been a suggestion that he could undergo a medical in Los Angeles, paving the way for the confirmation of his move later today.

However, according to Italian broadcaster Sky Italia, Pogba is unlikely to complete his move by the end of the day or undergo a medical as Juventus are yet to give their go ahead.

Mino Raiola held talks with the Juventus legal team yesterday after lunch to finalise the agreement, but there are minor details of the deal that need to be sorted out before either of the clubs are ready to confirm the transfer.

Juventus and Manchester United are currently putting a fine toothcomb through the agreement, and Pogba is expected to become a Red Devil over the course of the weekend.

Manchester United are paying a world record fee worth €110m for the Frenchman, and Juventus are not going to pay Raiola a percentage of the sale, but only a commission.

Raiola is expected to receive a hefty agent fee from Manchester United for Pogba’s proposed move back to Old Trafford.
