Crystal Palace have been in touch with Moussa Sissoko's agents and are pushing hard to convince the Newcastle United midfielder to agree to a move to Selhurst Park.

Sissoko is expected to leave Newcastle this summer following the club's relegation from the Premier League, but as yet no acceptable proposals have been received by the Magpies.

He has been linked with several sides, including Italian champions Juventus, with his reputation further enhanced by a fine showing at Euro 2016 with France.

And Palace are desperate to land Sissoko this summer, even though they are not yet his first choice.

That has not put Palace off and according to French magazine Le 10 Sport, Alan Pardew's men have been in touch with Sissoko's agents.
