Leeds United's signing of former Swansea City winger Pablo Hernandez remains on track despite there being no announcement of the deal yet.

The Whites have agreed a loan deal with Hernandez's current club, Qatari outfit Al Arabi, that will see the winger join on loan until the winter transfer window, when the switch can be transformed into a permanent transfer.

He was reported to have passed his medical this morning and Whites fans were waiting eagerly throughout Monday for confirmation of the deal to be announced by the Yorkshire giants.

But no confirmation has yet arrived.

However, according to Radio Yorkshire, there are no problems with the agreement and Hernandez's switch to Leeds is still very much on track.

He departed British football in 2014 to head to the Middle East with Al Arabi and has since had loan spells with Al Nasr and Rayo Vallecano.

Hernandez was a regular for Rayo Vallecano last season, but he could not help the side avoid being relegated from La Liga.
