Bastian Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias appears to have aimed a blast at Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

The former Bayern Munich midfielder has been declared surplus to requirements by Mourinho this summer and is now training with the club's reserves, the Portuguese boss having effectively ended his Red Devils career.

Schweinsteiger now looks set to have to find a new club if he is to play regular football next season.

The midfielder's brother, Tobias, appears to not be happy with Mourinho's treatment of his brother and looks to have taken a swipe at the former Chelsea manager.

He took to Twitter to write: "No respect."

Schweinsteiger was taken to Manchester United from Bayern Munich last summer by former Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal.

But the midfielder struggled to make his mark at Old Trafford and saw his campaign interrupted by injury.

He made only 18 appearances in the Premier League for the Red Devils, scoring once.
