Agents are offering out-of-favour Manchester United man Bastian Schweinsteiger to clubs in Italy as the English side seek to move on the former Bayern Munich man.

Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has declared the ageing midfielder surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and he has been banished to the club's reserve ranks.

Now agents are working overtime in an attempt to move Schweinsteiger on.

According to Italian radio station Radio Crc, the Premier League outfit have been offering Schweinsteiger to clubs in Italy on loan, while they will also pay a portion of his wages, estimated at above 60 per cent.

Manchester United appear desperate to offload Schweinsteiger as soon as possible, but they have so far not met with success.

Both Juventus and Inter have already made clear to agents tasked with finding Schweinsteiger a new club that they have no intention of signing the midfielder.

And Napoli have also rejected the chance to sign Schweinsteiger, as loaning the player is deemed to make no sense given his age and the fact it would stop a young player developing in his place.
