Frans Hoek has bounced back into the game following his departure from Manchester United by becoming the goalkeeping coach for the Netherlands national team.

The experienced coach departed Manchester United along with Louis van Gaal earlier this summer, having worked alongside his countryman at the Old Trafford club from 2014.

Now Hoek has penned an agreement with the Dutch FA running until the 2018 World Cup in Russia and succeeds Arno van Zwam, who has headed to Dubai to take up a position with Al Shabab.

The goalkeeping coach has worked for some of the biggest clubs in the game.

In addition to Manchester United, Hoek has worked at Ajax, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
