Tottenham Hotspur's head of recruitment Paul Mitchell, who it has been confirmed as leaving White Hart Lane, is in line to take up a post at Premier League champions Leicester City.

Mitchell has been credited with being behind a number of shrewd signings for Spurs, who finished in third spot under Mauricio Pochettino last term.

Spurs have confirmed he is moving on, while Mitchell says that he will continue to focus on the White Hart Lane club until he officially departs.

Now it has emerged that Mitchell is likely to be heading to the King Power Stadium.

Indeed, according to the BBC, Mitchell is in line to succeed Steve Walsh as head of recruitment at Leicester.
