Siem de Jong's representatives claim they have had no contact with PSV Eindhoven, despite speculation the Dutch giants are eyeing their client.

The Dutch forward is expected to be available from Newcastle this summer, but at present he is recovering from a hamstring injury.
 



It has been claimed that PSV are looking to take De Jong on loan, but the Dutch giants appear not to have yet started the process which would lead to the former Ajax man landing at the Philips Stadion.

Indeed, according to Dutch daily the Eindhovens Dagblad, the player's representatives say they have had no contact with PSV.
 


The 27-year-old came through the youth ranks at Ajax, before being snapped up by Newcastle in 2014.

He put pen to paper on a contract until the summer of 2020 upon arriving at St. James' Park.

But De Jong has endured a miserable spell at the Premier League club, seeing injuries interrupt his efforts to make an impact with the Magpies.

A move to PSV would see De Jong play alongside his brother, Luuk de Jong.
