Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has refused to participate in the speculation surrounding his goalkeeper Claudio Bravo’s future at the club.

The 33-year-old Chilean’s future at Barcelona has come under the scanner in recent days after it emerged that he is closing in on a move to Manchester City.

With Joe Hart speculated to be on his way out of the Etihad, it seems Pep Guardiola has raided his former club Barcelona to find a goalkeeping solution this summer.

With speculation suggesting that Barcelona are ready to accept Manchester City’s €25m proposal, Bravo is expected to arrive in England later this week to finalise an agreement.

However, Enrique flat out refused to discuss the speculation surrounding the Barcelona goalkeeper’s future at the club.

The Barcelona boss said in a press conference when asked about Bravo: “I am interested in the final of the Supercopa, not the rumour mill.”

With Marc-Andre ter Stegen injured, Bravo is expected to play against Sevilla tomorrow, and also against Real Betis this weekend in the first league game of Barcelona’s campaign.

However, it is expected that by the end of the month he could be a Manchester City player.
