Juventus are scheduled to meet Chelsea officials in Turin later today to probe the possibility of signing Juan Cuadrado this month.

Cuadrado spent the last season on loan at Juventus, and the Italian champions have been keen to see him return this summer, with the player also showing an inclination to play in Serie A again.

However, Juventus’ interest in the player seemed dead in water as Chelsea boss Antonio Conte said earlier in the summer that he wants to keep Cuadrado at Stamford Bridge.

However, after being left out of the squad against West Ham on Monday night, it seems a return to Italy is still possible for the Colombian, and Juventus are keen to pounce on the opportunity.

According to Sky Italia, the Italian champions will meet Chelsea officials in Turin today, and are set to discuss the possibility of signing the Colombian this month.

The player’s agent has managed to convince Chelsea to consider a loan move for Cuadrado this summer, and Juventus are set to propose an offer based on an initial loan deal, with an option to make the move permanent later.

AC Milan have also shown an interest in the player, but Juventus are currently the favourites to land the winger should Chelsea allow him to leave in the next couple of weeks.

Cuadrado has failed to settle down in England since his January 2015 move to Chelsea from Fiorentina, and wants to return to Italy again this summer.
