Wolfsburg could snap up Simone Zaza from Juventus and accept an offer of €50m from Arsenal for Julian Draxler, it has been claimed in Italy.

The Bundesliga outfit have been looking to put a deal in place for Zaza and recently flew the striker to Germany to give him a tour of their facilities and sell the switch to him.

A potential move for Zaza to Wolfsburg was mooted to have cooled though as the Wolves show interest in Germany international striker Mario Gomez.

However, it has been claimed a move for Zaza to the Volkswagen Arena is still very much on and there could be other implications.

Indeed, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Zaza to Wolfsburg is still very much possible, while the Wolves are also ready to accept a €50m offer from Arsenal for Draxler.

The Gunners have long been linked with the Germany star, who is keen to move on from Wolfsburg this summer.

However, the Bundesliga outfit have been set against cashing in on Draxler, despite the player's willingness to leave.

€50m though could be a sum to turn their head and allow Arsene Wenger to land a big name signing.

It has also been suggested Bas Dost could be sold by Wolfsburg.
