Portuguese goalkeeper Eduardo is set to join Chelsea when Dinamo Zagreb have concluded their Champions League playoff tie.

Antonio Conte's men have been chasing the shot-stopper as they look to bolster their options between the sticks before the summer transfer window slams shut at the end of this month.

And it appears they are just one step from getting their man as the Blues already have an agreement in place with the goalkeeper, according to Portuguese outlet Diario de Noticias.

Eduardo is expected to depart for Chelsea when he finishes his involvement in Dinamo Zagreb's attempt to qualify for the Champions League group stage.

The Croatian giants are firmly in the mix to qualify and drew the first leg of their tie at home 1-1 against Austrian outfit Red Bull Salzburg.
