Leeds United have rekindled their interest in striker Ashley Fletcher and want the former Manchester United man on loan.

Garry Monk's men were chasing Fletcher earlier this summer when his contract at Manchester United expired and he knocked back the offer of an extension from the Red Devils.

However, Fletcher snubbed a move to Elland Road in favour of staying in the Premier League and signed for West Ham United.

Leeds have not lost interest in the striker however and, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, are rekindling their interest.

The Whites are hoping to take Fletcher to Elland road on a season-long loan deal.
