Juan Cuadrado’s agent has revealed that he will sit down for talks with Chelsea today to discuss a proposed move to Juventus for his client.

Despite Antonio Conte saying earlier in the summer that he wants to hold on to the Colombian, the winger’s future has again come under the scanner this week with Juventus pushing to sign him.

He spent last season on loan with the Italian champions and has been keen to return to Italy. Cuadrado has struggled to settle down in England since moving to Chelsea from Fiorentina in January last year.

Alessandro Lucci, his agent, has been in talks with Juventus over Cuadrado, and the Italian giants have proposed an initial loan move with an option to make the transfer permanent.

He revealed that he will hold further talks with Chelsea in the English capital later today to discuss Cuadrado’s proposed switch to Italy.

On a return to Juventus for the Colombian, Lucci told Sportitalia: “We are still working, as it is not a simple negotiation.

“Tomorrow I will be in London to speak with Chelsea, and try to break the deadlock.”

Cuadrado didn’t feature in the Chelsea squad that beat West Ham on Monday night, and is keen to join Juventus to continue his career in Serie A.
