Leeds United head coach Garry Monk has been tipped to shuffle his pack this evening away at Luton Town by putting Sol Bamba and Pontus Jansson together in the heart of defence.

Monk has appeared to settle on Liam Cooper and Kyle Bartley as his first choice central defensive partnership and the pair started at Hillsborough in Leeds' 2-0 win against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

But the former Swansea boss, who has chopped and changed since he took over at Elland Road, wants to keep Bamba and Jansson sharp.

And so, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the pair are to be handed starts against Luton in the EFL Cup tonight.

Jansson has just signed for Leeds, joining the Whites on a season-long loan deal from Italian side Torino, and turning out against Luton would be his debut.
