Inter Milan have rejected Tottenham Hotspur’s attempts to sign Ivan Perisic, according to Italian broadcaster Sky Italia.

The winger, who joined Inter Milan from Wolfsburg last summer, was in great form for the Italian giants in the 2015/16 campaign.

Perisic scored nine goals and provided six assists in 37 appearances in all competitions for the Nerazzurri last term.

The Croatian international’s impressive performances aroused the interest of Spurs who tried to sign the 27-year-old recently.

But new Inter Milan boss Frank de Boer considers Perisic a vital player for the club and hence rejected Spurs’ approach.
