Monaco could still sell Manchester United linked defender Fabinho before deadline day, if they receive a big money offer.

The 22-year-old right-back has been a key performer for the Ligue 1 outfit since he joined the club in 2013 from Portuguese side Rio Ave FC and has remained important at the start of this season too.

While he has been linked with a move away from Monaco this summer, with Manchester United believed to be key suitors, there has been little talk of him leaving the club in the last few weeks.

However, Monaco are still open to the idea of selling Fabinho this summer, and according to French sports daily L’Equipe, the club could allow him to leave if they receive a good offer before Wednesday’s deadline day.

It has been claimed that the Brazilian could leave if one of his suitors place an offer north of €30m on the table before the end of the window as Monaco are keen to do business.

Les Rouges et Blancs sold Anthony Martial to Manchester United on deadline day last summer for big money, and are not against the idea of doing the same with Fabinho.

And it remains to be seen whether Manchester United are ready to follow up on their interest in the Brazilian, and look to do one more last minute deal with Monaco.

Fabinho has a contract until 2019 with the club.
