Simone Zaza will sign for West Ham United from Juventus on Friday, according to Sky Italia.

The Hammers have reached an agreement with the Bianconeri which will see them pay €28m plus bonuses to the Italian champions in order to land the Italy international.

Zaza is expected in England on Friday, at which time he will put pen to paper on a contract which will earn him €3.5m net per season.

The striker struggled to secure regular playing time at Juventus last season and his situation was not expected to improve in the current campaign, especially with the signing of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli.

Now Zaza will try his luck in England's Premier League and hand West Ham boss Slaven Bilic further attacking options.
