Tottenham Hotspur full-back Danny Rose has expressed his excitement about playing Champions League football at the famous Wembley Stadium this season.

The Lilywhites will play their European games at the national stadium this time around as a part of an agreement they reached with Wembley National Stadium Limited in May.

Rose, who was on loan at Bristol City the last time the Londoners played in the tournament back during the 2010/11 season, insists that it will be a special occasion for him not only to play in the Champions League, but also at the famous Wembley Stadium.

The anticipation regarding the draw has been high, according to Rose and they have all hoped for a comfortable group to start with.

“Everyone is excited and we’re hoping for a nice group", the 26-year-old told his club's official website.
