A player has landed in England and headed to West Ham co-chairman David Sullivan's house, the supremo's son, Jack Sullivan, has revealed.

West Ham are working hard to add players to their squad before the transfer window slams shut, but their attractiveness as a destination took a blow last night when they were knocked out of the Europa League by Romanian side Astra Giurgiu.

They are poised to sign Simone Zaza from Juventus, with claims the striker has headed to England and the likelihood is it is the Italian who has headed to Sullivan's house.

But no name has been mentioned, keeping the mystery alive.

Jack wrote on Twitter: "A player has landed and has just done to dad's house."
