Crystal Palace, Everton and West Brom all want Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko, meaning the end of the transfer window promises a scramble for the Frenchman.

Sissoko has been looking for the exit door at St. James' Park all summer following the Magpies' relegation from the Premier League.

The France international, who further enhanced his reputation with his performances for Les Bleus at Euro 2016, was dreaming of a switch to Real Madrid.

But Sissoko may end up closer to home with Crystal Palace, Everton and West Brom all chasing him, according to local daily the Shields Gazette.

There is also interest from Juventus and Inter, but the Italian pair are leaving it late to strike a deal for the midfielder.
