Everton have reached an agreement with Serie A side Napoli to sign striker Manolo Gabbiadini.

The Toffees have been in talks with last season's Serie A runners-up in an effort to snap up Gabbiadini, as boss Ronald Koeman looks to add another striker to the ranks before the transfer window closes.

According to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, Everton have now reached an agreement with Napoli on the basis of a €25m fee for the striker.

The Premier League side are now working hard in a bid to close out the deal.

Napoli are also now moving to bring in a replacement for the former Sampdoria man.

Gabbiadini has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs this summer, including Stoke City and West Ham United.

But it appears to be at Goodison Park that he will take the next step in his career.

Gabbiadini will also hope to play regularly at Everton, having struggled to nail down a consistent first team spot with Napoli last season.
