Pontus Jansson has taken a pot shot at the food culture in England, though he insists he is happy to be at Leeds United.

The Whites recently snapped up the Sweden international from Serie A side Torino, taking Jansson to Elland Road on a season-long loan deal.

Jansson's move to Leeds will become permanent if he makes 20 appearances or more for the Yorkshire side.

He is settling into life in England, but says he is shocked by the food culture in the country.

Jansson wrote on Twitter: "I'm so happy to be in England, but the food culture in this country is not that good, or I'm wrong?"

The defender made his Leeds debut away at Luton Town in an EFL Cup tie recently, clocking up 74 minutes in a game the Whites won 1-0 and earning praise from head coach Garry Monk.

Jansson will be hoping to be involved on Saturday when Leeds take on Nottingham Forest in a Championship clash at the City Ground.

Leeds are aiming to make it three wins on the spin.
