ADO Den Haag star Tom Beugelsdijk is not prepared to think about interest from Leeds United until such time as the Whites make an approach for his services, though he feels the English side rate him.

The 26-year-old defender has been mooted to be on Leeds' shopping list for the final stretch of the transfer window, as they aim to bolster their squad to cope with the demands of the Championship until at least the winter window.

Beugelsdijk is happy at ADO Den Haag, the club he joined from German outfit FSV Frankfurt last year and at which he started his career.

He feels that Leeds rate him as a player, but will not spend time considering a potential switch to Elland Road until the Championship club firm up their interest.

"They seem to think I am a good defender", the Dutchman told Omroep West.

"But as long as I do not know if they will come up with an offer, it is not interesting for me to think about it", Beugelsdijk added.

The defender is a firm fan favourite at ADO Den Haag and came through the youth ranks at the club, spending time on loan at FC Dordrecht to hone his skills before turning out for the Residentionclub.

Beugelsdijk left the Netherlands for Germany and FSV Frankfurt in 2014, but the move did not work out and he headed back home after a year.
