Simone Zaza has now officially signed for West Ham United, according to Italian TV programme Qui Studio A Voi Stadio.

The Italy hitman recently travelled to England to put the finishing touches to his switch to the Hammers from Italian champions Juventus.

Now it is claimed that all the details have been ironed out, along with the striker passing a medical, meaning he is now officially a West Ham United player.

The capture of Zaza will be a big boost for Slaven Bilic's men, who were knocked out of the Europa League on Thursday night.

The London Stadium outfit have been searching for a top class striker for most of the summer.
