Despite much chatter, there is nothing concrete that has emerged yet on a potential takeover of Leeds United by MP&Silva founder Andrea Radrizzani.

The Italian businessman was pictured alongside Leeds chairman Massimo Cellino at games against Atalanta and QPR, with reports then emerging suggesting he was close to investing in the Yorkshire giants.

Radrizzani quickly claimed he was just trying to understand the club better, but talk has continued to swirl about an imminent takeover.

But according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, there are no concrete developments known yet regarding a takeover of Leeds.

As such, any new investment looks unlikely to come in before the transfer window closes, meaning the Whites are not likely to add big names before Wednesday's deadline.

Monk's side have so far picked up just four points from their opening five Championship games and went down to a 3-1 defeat away to Nottingham Forest in their latest match on Saturday.
