PSV Eindhoven have approached Chelsea over signing Brazilian defender Kenedy.

The Dutch giants are keen on adding to their squad ahead of the closure of the transfer window and the 20-year-old has popped up on their radar as a potential acquisition.

According to Dutch daily the Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV have approached Chelsea over snapping up the Brazil Under-20 international.

Kenedy can operate as a left-back and PSV are unclear as to whether they will manage to keep hold of Jetro Willems.

Chelsea snapped Kenedy up from Brazilian side Fluminense in the summer of 2015 following a successful trial with the Blues.

Also able to play as a winger, Kenedy made his Chelsea debut against Crystal Palace the same summer.

It is unclear whether the defender is part of new Chelsea manager Antonio Conte's plans for this term.

He has not yet turned out for Chelsea this season, but made 20 appearances for the Blues in the last campaign.
