There is doubt over whether Hull City will complete a deal for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Ryan Mason as they are now chasing Derby County's Jeff Hendrick.

The Tigers have been keen to snap up Mason, who is available at White Hart Lane for the right price.

But according to the Hull Daily Mail, the Tigers are now in talks with Derby over signing Henrick, which means it is unclear where the club's proposed move for Mason lies.

Mason was thought to be set for an £8m switch to the newly promoted Premier League side.

Now Hull are in talks for Hendrick, as they look to snap up the 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international before the transfer window closes.
