Wolfsburg have submitted a written offer for Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-Min Son, with the view to signing him before Wednesday’s deadline day.

The South Korean international’s future at Tottenham has been a topic of discussion over the last few days, with Wolfsburg pushing to bring him back to Germany this summer.

The German club recently pocketed €10m plus bonus payments by selling Bas Dost to Sporting Lisbon, and it has been claimed that they have slapped in an offer for Son in the recent hours.

According to Germany daily Bild, Wolfsburg have sent a written offer of €30m to Tottenham for the signature of the South Korean international, and are hoping to reach an agreement with the north Londoners soon.

It has been suggested that the former Bayer Leverkusen man could also be interested in returning to Germany, but is also attracting interest from Everton and Leicester City in the Premier League.

Son returned to the matchday squad for Tottenham’s weekend clash against Liverpool, but remained an unused substitute in the 1-1 draw at White Hart Lane.

Wolfsburg are still hoping to hold further talks with Spurs soon as they look to close out an agreement for the forward before Wednesday.

Son has a contract until 2020 with the north Londoners.
