Arsenal are willing to let midfielder Jack Wilshere leave the club on loan in the last couple of days of the transfer window, according to the BBC.

The England midfielder has struggled with injuries during his time at the Emirates, and had another disappointing last season, where he made just three senior appearances for the club.

While Wilshere was still part of the England squad for the European Championship, he has played just 37 minutes of football for Arsenal in the first three Premier League games this season.

The 24-year-old’s first team opportunities this season are set to be limited as he is competing for a place in the side with Santi Cazorla, Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey, Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny

And therefore Arsene Wenger has decided that is better Wilshere leaves Arsenal, on a loan deal, this summer in the pursuit for more first team football.

The England international has less than 48 hours to find a club willing to sign him on loan before tomorrow’s transfer deadline.

A lack of football this season also saw Wilshere dropped from Sam Allardyce’s first England squad, ahead of next week’s World Cup qualifiers.

His current contract with Arsenal runs until 2018.
