Nahki Wells has sparked speculation that he may be Leeds United bound by following the Elland Road coach on social media platform Twitter.

With the transfer feeding frenzy in full tilt as the final 24 hours of the summer transfer window approach, Championship clubs are looking to strengthen with increasing urgency.

Due to the removal of the emergency loan window, Championship sides must make do with the squad they assemble this summer until the winter window swings open.

And Leeds fans have noted with interest Wells, who is at Huddersfield Town, choosing to follow the Whites on Twitter.

Wells has been linked with leaving Huddersfield before the window shuts, with Newcastle United and Derby County mooted as suitors.

However, Leeds head coach Garry Monk is known to be on the lookout for another striker before the window closes, while Newcastle and Derby have recently made attacking additions, with Daryl Murphy and Matej Vydra respectively.

Wells, 24, could have started following Leeds though ahead of Huddersfield's meeting with the Whites after the international break.

UPDATE: Wells has now 'unfollowed' Leeds and insists he did not mean to follow the Whites.
