Newcastle United have no intention of entertaining bids in the region of £20m from Tottenham Hotspur for Moussa Sissoko.

The France international has been linked with leaving St. James' Park since the Magpies were relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season.

He further boosted his stock with a series of fine showings for France at Euro 2016 – but less than 48 hours before the transfer window slams shut he is still at Newcastle.

Spurs have now been linked with making a late bid to sign the Frenchman, but the White Hart Lane outfit will not be allowed to sign Sissoko on the cheap.

Indeed, according to the Chronicle, Newcastle have no intention of even considering offers from Spurs in the region of £20m.
