Nottingham Forest have confirmed two signings in the shape of winger Mustapha Carayol and striker Nicolao Dumitru.

The City Ground outfit are under pressure to strengthen their squad before the transfer window closes and make a statement in the transfer market after pocketing £13m from selling Oliver Burke to Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.

And they now have two through the door in the shape of Carayol and Dumitru, with owner Fawaz Al Hasawi announcing the signings.

The Forest supremo wrote on Twitter: "Please welcome Mustapha Carayol to Nottingham Forest, who has signed a two-year deal.

"I am also pleased to announced Nicolao Dumitru has joined us on a season-long loan", he added.
