Leeds United midfielder Luke Murphy is attracting interest from two clubs on deadline day.

The Crewe Alexandra youth product has been deemed surplus to requirements by Whites head coach Garry Monk and it has been suggested the Yorkshire giants are keen to offload him to make room for fresh faces.

Murphy has been linked with League One side Sheffield United, but it is not clear whether the Blades are chasing his signature.

According to Radio Yorkshire, the midfielder has interest from two clubs on deadline day, as Leeds eye moving him on from Elland Road.

Murphy had been tipped to flourish under Monk's ball-possession focused style of play at Leeds, but the midfielder appears not to have impressed the former Swansea City manager.
