West Ham and Stoke City linked striker Wilfried Bony has indicated that he could be on his way out of Manchester City today.

The 27-year-old striker has been frozen out of the first team squad by new Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, and the club have been looking to offload him for some time.

However, with just over half-a-day left in the summer transfer window, Bony’s departure from Manchester City is set to be accelerated with interest from Premier League clubs.

West Ham have been linked with a move for the Ivorian striker in the last few days, and there are suggestions that Stoke City are set to launch a late bid to take Bony to the bet365 Stadium.

And Bony himself indicated that he is on his way out of Manchester City, and is looking to take up a fresh challenge.

The striker took to Twitter and wrote: “It’s a new day and I look forward to a new exciting challenge.”

Manchester City paid a hefty transfer fee to snare Bony away from Swansea in January last year, but the striker has failed to establish himself as a key player at the Etihad.

He has scored 11 goals in 46 appearances for the Citizens, and has a contract until 2019 with the club.
