Newcastle United are bracing themselves for another bid from Tottenham Hotspur for Moussa Sissoko.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with quitting Newcastle United this summer after the Magpies were relegated from the Premier League last season.

Sissoko is yet to make an appearance for Newcastle United in the present campaign and is currently in France.

Spurs made a £20m bid for the midfielder yesterday, but the Magpies swiftly knocked it back as they value the player at a significantly higher sum.

But according to the Chronicle, the north London outfit are preparing to lodge another bid for Sissoko on deadline day.
