Nice still have no agreement with Liverpool over striker Mario Balotelli, according to French radio station RMC.

Balotelli has arrived in France and is hoping to seal a loan move to the Ligue 1 club, with no future for the Italian hitman at Anfield, where he has been frozen out by Jurgen Klopp.

He has struggled to attract interest from Europe's biggest clubs and has seen his stock fall rapidly, to such an extent he is now heading to France.

But the deal is not done yet and as yet there is no agreement between Nice and Liverpool.

The Ligue 1 side will be keen for Liverpool to pick up the majority of Balotelli's big salary in order for the switch to go through.

However, Balotelli's presence in France indicates that the striker is confident the deal will eventually be pushed over the line.

Liverpool paid £16m to sign Balotelli from AC Milan in the summer of 2014.
