Heung-Min Son has dubbed his Tottenham Hotspur team-mate Christian Eriksen’s assists “unbelievable” after Spurs brushed aside Stoke City 4-0 in a Premier League encounter on Saturday.

The South Korea international, who was making his first appearance for Spurs in the present campaign, broke the deadlock in the 41st minute before doubling his side’s advantage after the break, with Eriksen providing the assists for both goals.

Further strikes from Dele Alli and Harry Kane at the Bet365 Stadium ensured an easy win for Tottenham, who propelled themselves up to fourth spot in the standings with eight points from four outings.

And Son, who was linked with quitting the north London outfit in the summer, with Wolfsburg interested, hailed Eriksen’s contribution behind both his goals at the weekend.

"For both my goals, Christian's passes were unbelievable and I just had to touch the ball”, he told the club’s official site.

“It’s good memories.

"For the first one, Chris had the ball, he looked into the middle, I just ran, we made good eye contact, then he produced a great pass and my left foot just touched the ball and it was a great finish."

Son, whose present contract with Spurs runs until 2020, joined the club from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015.

The 24-year-old forward has thus far made 41 appearances in all competitions for Tottenham, scoring 10 times and providing six assists.
