Arsenal new boy Shkodran Mustafi has revealed that he prefers Brazil legend Ronaldo to Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, who played at Inter Milan, AC Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid amongst other clubs, was a prolific goalscorer at both club and country level.




The striker played in two World Cup finals, and helped Brazil to win the one in 2002.

On the other hand, Cristiano Ronaldo, who won the European Championship with Portugal in the summer, has been scoring for fun since joining Los Blancos from Manchester United in 2009.
 


The Portuguese winger has thus far scored a staggering 365 goals in 350 games for Real Madrid, thus becoming the club’s record goalscorer.

However, Mustafi, who joined Arsenal from Valencia in the summer, explained that he thinks the Brazilian Ronaldo was better, despite playing against Cristiano Ronaldo on several ocassions.

"Probably the Brazilian one – he was a phenomenal player when I was growing up," he said in a question and answer session on Twitter, when asked which Ronaldo he preferred.

Mustafi went on to add that he is relishing his time at Arsenal as playing at a big club with big players is everyone’s dream.

"Up to now, it's been great – it's everyone's dream to be at a big team with big players”, he added.

Mustafi has thus far made two appearances in all competitions for the Gunners.
