Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has insisted that Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas is still a big part of his and the club’s plans going forward and revealed he is just finding out all about the former Barcelona man.

The 29-year-old midfielder played a key role in Chelsea winning the title in his first season at Stamford Bridge, and despite a poor campaign last time around, he remained a crucial part of the squad.

However, the Spaniard is yet to start a game in the Premier League this season under new manager Conte, and there is speculation that he could be leaving Chelsea in January.

AC Milan tried their luck with Fabregas on deadline day but were declined, and the Rossoneri are expected to come back to the table during the January transfer window.

However, Chelsea boss Conte stressed that he has no plans to sell the midfielder, and feels if Fabregas keeps working hard, he will eventually get back into the Chelsea side at the some point.
