Torino striker Andrea Belotti has emerged as a possible transfer target for Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato News.

The 22-year-old Italian striker, who joined the club from Palermo last year, has made a flying start to the season at Torino, and has scored four goals in two Serie A games.

Currently nursing a hamstring injury, the forward’s performances in Italy have been noticed by some of the top clubs in Europe, including in the Premier League.

It has been suggested that Arsenal and Liverpool are keeping a close watch on his progress in Italy and could make a dive for him soon as they look to add more attacking options to their squad.

Out of the two, Arsenal’s interest at the moment seems more concrete as the club are considering offering a loan plus purchase option deal to Torino for Belotti soon.
