Tottenham Hotspur star Heung-Min Son has expressed his delight in helping his side beat Sunderland 1-0 on Sunday by putting in an impressive performance.

Spurs, who headed into the Premier League meeting on the back of a 2-1 loss to Monaco in the Champions League last week, beat the Black Cats, courtesy of Harry Kane’s 59th minute winner.

Although Son did not manage to find the back of the net, he was adjudged the man of the match for the constant threat he posed to Sunderland’s defence.

And the South Korea international, who insisted that Tottenham deserved to bag the full three points against the Black Cats, was pleased with his and his team-mates' displays at White Hart Lane.

“I work hard in every game”, he told Spurs TV.
