Pablo Hernandez has revealed that he is yet to decide if he will stay at Leeds United beyond December.

The Spaniard was snapped up by the Whites on a six-month loan deal from Qatari club Al-Arabi in August.

Hernandez scored his first goal for Leeds at the weekend as the Yorkshire giants beat Cardiff City 2-0 to win their second successive game in the Championship.

And the 31-year-old, who insisted that he is “very happy” at Leeds, explained that he is yet to take a call on his future.

Hernandez stated that he is presently fully focused on playing well and helping Leeds win games, with the midfielder confirming that he will speak with the Elland Road outfit about his personal situation in due time.

“I don’t know anything about that now”, he told BBC Radio Leeds, when asked if he has taken a decision about extending his stay at Leeds beyond December.

“I’m only thinking about the present, I’m only thinking about the next game.

“In the future I’ll have time to decide if I’ll stay with this club.

“But I’m very happy here at Leeds. The most important thing for me is to play well because Leeds showed confidence in me and signed me.

“For me, the most important thing for me is to play, play well and help my team win games and when the time will come, I’ll speak to the club about that.”

Hernandez, who has thus far made seven appearances in all competitions for Leeds, joined Al-Arabi from Swansea City on a three-year deal in the summer of 2014.
