Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be tying down further players to new contracts over the coming weeks, boss Mauricio Pochettino has indicated.

Spurs have tied a series of young stars to new deals, the latest being midfielder Dele Alli, who has committed his future to the White Hart Lane outfit.

Pochettino was delighted to see Alli, who was in superb form for Spurs last term, sign a new deal, but he is expecting to see more talents follow suit over the coming weeks, as the north London club look to protect their top talents.

"Always it’s good that the players show their commitment to the club", the Spurs boss told a press conference.

"It’s not the last one, maybe we will have some others [signing new deals] in the next few weeks", he added.
