The draw for the fourth round of the EFL Cup has been conducted with a series of thrilling ties in prospect as the competition starts to enter its business end.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, who comfortably eased past Derby County on Tuesday night, have been rewarded for their work with a mouthwatering home tie against Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham Hotspur.
 



Manchester United meanwhile, who were made to work by Northampton Town this evening, but ultimately came through 3-1, will take on rivals Manchester City at Old Trafford.

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal have been drawn to play Jaap Stam's Reading. Leeds United meanwhile will play host to fellow Championship club Norwich City.
 


Newcastle United will lock horns with fellow Championship side Preston North End, while Southampton have been drawn to play host to Sunderland at St. Mary's.

Chelsea, under Antonio Conte, will travel to the London Stadium to play West Ham.
