Celtic and Rangers have been drawn to face each other in the semi-final of this season's Scottish League Cup.

The Glasgow giants recently went head to head in the Scottish Premiership, with Brendan Rodgers' men crushing Mark Warburton's team to run out 5-1 winners at Parkhead.

Rangers came through a home tie against Queen of the South earlier this week to book their semi-final spot, while Celtic saw off Alloa Athletic, also at home.

Now the pair have been drawn together and will meet at Hampden to decide who progress to the final of the League Cup.

Elsewhere, Aberdeen edged past St. Johnstone on Thursday night, thanks to a 90th minute goal, to book their semi-final spot.
