Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that a few players have not travelled with the squad for their Champions League encounter against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday night.

After a demoralising loss to Monaco in the opening group game at Wembley Stadium earlier this month, Tottenham will be looking to kick start their Champions League campaign in the Russian capital.

However, Pochettino admits that a number of key players are missing from the Tottenham travelling party due to injuries, including striker Harry Kane, who suffered an ankle injury earlier this month.

The Tottenham boss revealed that midfielders Eric Dier, Moussa Dembele and Moussa Sissoko are all missing from the squad due to injuries and even defender Danny Rose has been ruled out of Tuesday night’s game.

Tottenham clinched three points in a tightly contested affair at the Riverside Stadium against Middlesbrough on Saturday to earn some momentum ahead of their Russian adventure.
