Mark Warburton is hopeful that Rangers fans are witnessing the progress the club are making, despite the Gers' recent poor run in the Scottish Premiership.

The Gers, who went down 2-1 to Aberdeen at the weekend, are now winless in their last four league outings, managing to pick up just two points in the process.

Following the defeat at Aberdeen, Rangers slid down to the bottom half of the table and currently find themselves in seventh spot with nine points from seven games, seven adrift of the leaders and their arch rivals Celtic, who have a game in hand.

And Warburton, who admitted that Rangers’ recent results have been hard to take for the fans, however, insisted that his side have made significant progress during the lean period.

“It’s difficult for our fans to swallow when you take one point from six, that’s not Rangers but we hope very much that they can see a lot of big progress is being made”, he told Rangers TV.
