Rangers youngster Ryan Hardie is excited about being named in the Scotland Under-21 squad for the country's upcoming youth international matches.

Hardie, 19, joined St. Mirren in the summer on a loan deal from Rangers, and has been in impressive form for the Scottish Championship side this season.

Scoring five goals in ten appearances, the young striker has caught the eye of many with his performances, and he has been rewarded with a call-up to Scotland's Under-21 squad for the upcoming youth internationals next month.

Hardie, who has represented Scotland Under-19s, is elated to get a break in the Under-21 team, and is looking to make the most of the experience during the international period.

“Buzzing to be named in the squad”, the striker wrote on Twitter.
