AC Milan are interested in taking West Ham striker Simone Zaza back to Italy, according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Zaza’s future at Juventus was a topic of discussion all summer, and after months of uncertainty, he finally decided to move to England with West Ham last month, on a loan deal with an option to make the move permanent.

However, the Italian striker has so far struggled to settle down in England and is yet to find the back of the net for the Hammers in all competitions since his arrival in east London.

And with West Ham also struggling to get their season up and running, there has been speculation that his time at the club could come to an end sooner than expected.

It has been claimed that AC Milan, who were also interested in Zaza in the summer, are still tracking the striker, and are keen to bring him back to Italy.

There are suggestions that if his and West Ham’s form don’t improve in the coming months, Zaza could angle for a move back to Italy, with AC Milan interested.

West Ham are confident of turning their poor form around, but it remains to be seen if Zaza is still part of their plans.
